Grade Examinations
We are delighted to support our dancers as they prepare for their grade examinations. These exams follow a structured progression, with each grade building on the skills, technique, and dances learned in previous levels.
As each dancer progresses at their own pace, eligibility for grade exams is determined by their teacher. Please check directly with your teacher to confirm which grade your child is ready to take, as well as the specific dances and requirements they will need to prepare on the syllabus below.
While the core syllabus remains consistent, some grades also include céilí dances and elements of Irish language. To support preparation, you may find the following resources helpful:
- Grade Application 1-10: link to application
- Grade Application 11: link to application
- Grade Application 12: link to application
- Céilí dance reference: link to your Céilí Book here
- Irish language requirements: link to Irish language resource here
Your teacher will guide dancers on all required material, including steps, timing, and performance standards.
If you have any questions about exams or preparation, please don’t hesitate to get in touch we’re happy to help.
